Requesting a Standalone App

Being able to update the content of your app at any time is a key feature of using App Press. However, sometimes it's useful to build a standalone application that will not be updated, or does not connect to App Press servers. We call this a “bundled app”.

You can request a bundled app any time you make a publish request. The published app is a self contained application that can function without connecting to an App Press server.

Bundled apps are not able to receive content updates or push notifications. We recommend only choosing this option when you're sure you won't make any further changes to your application, or if you need to cancel your App Press account.
