USA Gym hired the App Press development team to create a complex, data-driven app for gymnastics competitions.

USA Gymnastics partnered with the App Press development team to build a complex, data-driven app with many custom features. The myusagym app is the best way for any fan to follow gymnastics competitions on all levels, from invitationals to national championships.

App Features

  • Users can track competitions in real time with rosters, schedules, and results
  • Social features allow users to find and follow favorite athletes, from well-known gymnasts to personal friends
  • Multiple data sources keep users up to date with the latest gymnastic news, as well as results from past competition

Pierogi Fest

An informational app for Pierogi Fest, a yearly festival with over 250,000 attendees.

Hannah Dominiak, working with the Whiting Robertsdale Chamber of Commerce, contacted the App Press team about building an informational app for Pierogi Fest. The event is a festival held in Whiting, Indiana, with over 250,000 attendees each year. With help from the App Press team, Hannah was able to design and publish the Pierogi Fest app in time for the festival.

App Features

  • Keeps Pierogi Fest attendees informed, with a map, schedule of events, and a list of participating vendors
  • Push notifications kept attendees updated on current events and attractions in real time
  • A great channel for the Whiting Robertsdale Chamber of Commerce to promote Pierogi Fest

Ball State Commencement

Ball State University built a mobile app to serve as a guide to its commencement ceremonies.

The Ball State University commencement app is a collaborative effort between Ball State students and instructors. Students spent a semester learning about UI, UX, and web design while building the commencement event app using App Press.
